More than 100 years defending this profession

Descendants of ancient pelaires and weavers, we are the only family nationwide and one of the few worldwide that still keeps all the wool trades alive in the same town.

You usually ask us

Go to FAQ

Where does your wool come from?

All our wool comes from flocks in our territory, national and as close as possible. Each product has full traceability, from the sheep to your hands.

Do you carry out the entire process?

We are one of the few places in the world where freshly sheared wool can be transformed into the final woven product.

A process that we do in our town, Mota del Cuervo, and we have been doing for more than 100 years when our grandfather washed wool in the Saona river.

What does sustainable traceability mean?

It is the transparent and documented monitoring of processes, activities and supply chains, in order to guarantee responsible practices from the point of origin to the destination, in line with environmental, social and economic sustainability criteria.

What are you doing to improve the problem with wool in Spain?

We contribute our grain of sand in this change towards a more circular and sustainable economy.

All flocks that work with us receive compensation for their wool much higher than the market value. They go from having losses to being able to obtain a certain return that helps them continue with this job. The result is shepherds who decide to continue investing in wool and animal care
