They graze freely throughout Spain, from the extensive Dehesas of Extremadura, passing through the Serranía de Cuenca, or the plains of the La Mancha, until ending up in the mountains of the Picos de Europa and the Pyrenees.

They receive humane treatment, are well fed and live healthily. Our continuous care of the sheep allows us to obtain fibers of the highest quality and performance in each of the sheep breeds.

FREE TO MANIFEST THEIR NATURAL BEHAVIOR
We work with flocks in an extensive regime, providing the sheep with free land to graze and live freely. Although they have a lot of hectares to graze, they prefer to go all together and that is why the figure of the shepherd is necessary to take them to new pastures.
FREE FROM PHYSICAL AND THERMAL DISCOMFORT
Sheep over the centuries have adapted to hot and cold environments depending on their habitat, however, they have also become domesticated and need human help. Our employees must ensure that they have adequate shade and shelter available at all times.
FREE FROM HUNGER, THIRST AND MALNUTRITION
Our sheep live in a way that they can feed and hydrate themselves when they need it. Well-fed sheep adapt better to the stresses of extreme weather, such as drought and winter cold.
FREE FROM STRESS, FEAR AND ANGUISH
There is no one better than someone in love with their job and with several generations of experience to love sheep. Our shepherds are the first lovers of their animals and no one knows better than them how to handle their sheep to avoid any unnecessary stress and pain. With this in mind, mulesing is completely prohibited in Spain and we guarantee 100% that our products are totally free of this activity.
FREE FROM PAIN, INJURY AND DISEASE
Our collaborating flocks work daily alongside veterinary experts for the care and well-being of their animals, carrying out exhaustive control to prevent diseases and diagnose animal health problems.
At Wool4Life we strive to make this happen and we demand that our collaborators provide these freedoms to their sheep.
NO MULESING
This surgical practice that removes a part of the sheep's skin attached to the tail is not carried out in Spain and we firmly verify that it is not carried out in any of the ways.
