CARE, REPAIR & REUSE

It is true that our favorite clothes are the ones we usually use the most. They often have sentimental value and associated memories, so pampering and caring for them is key to maintaining them for decades. Additionally, our commitment to sustainability, both in terms of materials and product longevity, is essential for the future.

Care

Wool is our white gold. Its unique composition will bring you many benefits thanks to its multiple properties. Breathable, thermoregulatory, resilient, bactericidal, etc. And also, thanks to the humidity it absorbs and does not accumulate static electricity, your clothes will resist stains, wrinkles and odors.

From time to time it may need to be aired out, so hang it outdoors or spread it on your bed. And in the case of heavy stains, wash it by hand in cold water and then dry it on a flat surface

Air out your clothes

When the garment or fabric calls for it, lay it out in the open air and let nature embrace the piece of wool and restore its natural vibrancy.

Hand Wash

We suggest hand washing our wool pieces in cold water with a neutral, mild and natural soap. Never drain or squeeze the piece

Remove excess of humidity

Roll the piece in a clean towel to absorb excess water before laying it flat to dry. Enjoy the process and the personal smell that you will give thanks to the soap!

Flat drying

It is important to lay the pieces flat so they can air dry. Avoid hanging them vertically with clothespins, as the weight of the freshly washed water can damage them.

Repair

Repairing instead of disposing is an act of environmental and ethical responsibility. In a world where excessive production and rapid disposal are the norm, repair becomes an act of resistance against unbridled consumerism.

Our commitment to sustainability not only delivers quality products, but also encourages the repairability of our parts. This is how we demonstrate our commitment to durability, longevity and respect for natural resources.

We encourage our customers to repair their garments rather than replace them, strengthening the emotional ties between the wearer and their garment.

To repair it, we offer you two options: 1. Send us your part so we can repair it in our workshop. To do so, contact us through this email (hello@wool4.life) so we can tell you the steps to follow. 2. You can take it to any nearby trusted workshop to have it repaired and thus promote the circular economy and help these small trades to continue doing essential work.

Reuse

Repair not only restores its usefulness, but also adds character and authenticity to the garment.

This cycle of repair and reuse reflects a holistic approach to sustainability, where each garment is valued as part of a larger system. Not only will you be making a statement in favor of the environment, but you will also be part of a community of users committed to more conscious and respectful consumption.
